The club has recently been made aware of the passing of former player Grant Jones.

Grant played in our minis/juniors and colts until leaving the area in the early 1980's.

Grants sister, Nanette, and brother, Drew, and WRFC past player Andrew 'Wedge' Weatherill, are arranging a get togther of old friends who knew and loved him to raise a glass in Grant's (Granny's) honour.

This will be in the afternoon of 30 March 2019 at the Hind Hotel in Wellingborough.

Including team mates from Wellingborough RFC, friends from Doctor Blunt's "W" form, Westfield Old Boys (particularly the unbeaten rugby team), & local friends and those from further afield who can make it. Please let Wedge know if you able to join them on the 30th.
